We really felt the rhythm of this soundtrack. Perfectly Jamaican and perfectly sums up the inspiration and power of this movie.

One dream. Four Jamaicans. Twenty below zero. Just the facts.

  1. At the time, it was the highest grossing live action film released under the Walt Disney Pictures banner.

  2. Contrary to the story in movie, the Jamaican team was met with open arms by the international Bobsledding teams. One of the other teams even went so far as to lend the Jamaican team a back-up sled so they could qualify.

  3. In 2015, Sanka Coffie (Doug E. Doug) revealed he still has Sanka's lucky eggs. They were made of rubber.

  4. Actual television sports footage from ABC network covering the 1988 Winter Olympics was utilized for the film and edited into the movie.

  5. Denzel Washington turned down the role of Derice Bannock, and Eddie Murphy turned down the role of Sanka Coffie, balking at the pay offered.

Yes, you can enjoy this film on Disney+
