Storyline : After Elizabeth, Will, and Captain Barbossa rescue Captain Jack Sparrow from the land of the dead, they must face their foes, Davy Jones and Lord Cutler Beckett. Beckett, now with control of Jones' heart, forms a dark alliance with him in order to rule the seas and wipe out the last of the Pirates. Now, Jack, Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, Tia Dalma, and crew must call the Pirate Lords from the four corners of the globe, including the infamous Sao Feng, to gathering. The Pirate Lords want to release the goddess Calypso, Davy Jones's damned lover, from the trap they sent her to out of fear, in which the Pirate Lords must combine the 9 pieces that bound her by ritual to undo it and release her in hopes that she will help them fight. With this, all pirates will stand together and will make their final stand for freedom against Beckett, Jones, Norrington, the Flying Dutchman, and the entire East India Trading Company.

Yo Ho Ho A Pirate Fact for Me
The most expensive film ever made (at the time), not adjusted for inflation. The budget ran to $300 million. That's more than the budget of all three Lord of the Rings films combined.
The green flash is a real, but very rare, optical phenomenon during sunrise or sunset, that is best observed at sea. It is caused by the refraction of light in the atmosphere, amplified by a mirage.
(at around 23 mins) The scene in which Jack the Monkey is shivering, was accomplished by the concerted efforts of the special effects and animal training departments. The effects guys made a small wooden barrel with a vibrating plate on top. The animal trainers taught the monkey to sit with her arms crossed on the plate.
The scenes in Davy Jones' locker were shot in Utah. The monochromatic style was used to represent its antithesis from the usual colorful pirate environment.
The climactic sea battle was shot in an air hanger at Palmdale, California, where the cast had to wear wetsuits underneath their costumes on angle-tipped ships. The water-drenched set was kept in freezing temperatures to prevent bacterial infection.
The third installment in the Pirates series can be found on Disney+ along with all of the other movies in the series.
