Isn't this a straight to video movie, its only 68 minutes long? Nope this heffalump bounced straight into theaters and somehow turned a profit.


Storyline :A Heffalump is heard trumpeting in the hundred acre woods. Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet are scared and rush to Rabbit's house for advice. Roo joins them and they all agree that Heffalumps are nearby after finding a huge footprint. They decide to set out on an expedition to catch the Heffalump. Roo is not allowed to come along because he is too little.

  1. Originally slated as Direct-To-Video, this feature was upgraded to theatrical release.

  2. This is the last time Nikita Hopkins voices Roo, since he went through puberty later the same year this film released.

  3. At 68 minutes this is the shortest feature length Winnie the Pooh film to be released in theaters until the next film Winnie the Pooh (2011) which ran at 63 minutes.

  4. Owl and Christopher Robin don't appear in this film, except the latter only makes a very brief appearance during the first part of the end credits.

  5. Due to the presence of Lumpy's mother, this is the first Winnie the Pooh film to have a female character other than Kanga.
