There is literally only one song in this entire movie...and well you can be the judge of it.

Gimme them facts or I'll blast ya!

  1. This western movie is a re-working of Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra's Don Quixote legend (The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha) transferred to an American western setting.

  2. The age of Scandalous John aka John McCanless (Brian Keith) was seventy-nine years of age.

  3. The character of Wendell played by John Ritter was a mute/non-speaking role.

  4. Most of the picture was shot in the American state of New Mexico but a small amount of filming was also done in Old Tuscon, Arizona and on a railway in South Dakota.

  5. The picture only received a minor and limited theatrical release when distributed in the USA in North America in 1971.

Not surprisingly this film is not available on Disney+ for some questionable content but you can rent it on amazon for $3.99 (at the time of posting).
