Like a typical Christmas film, the Soundtrack for Santa Clause 2 is full of old and new Christmas hits. Here are a few of our favorites below.

Santa's got some brand new facts.

  1. When Scott is trying to explain to Carol that he is Santa, she says, "so far, so good. You don't wear socks with sandals and you've never been to prison." Scott replies "Well..." Tim Allen did spend time in prison on drug charges before his acting career.

  2. The line "Quit the chit-chat-Chet" comes directly off a season 1 episode of Tim Allen's Home Improvement (1991) where a man named Chet on the phone babbles too much during a game of "Stump The Tool Man.

  3. Kristin Davis was considered for the role of Carol Newman.

  4. According to Santa's watch, the movie takes place in St. Paul, Minnesota.

  5. When Santa is on his first date with the aspiring singer/songwriter if you look at her shirt the face of Santa is that of Tim Allen.
